Are you in search of a chocolate chip cookie recipe where the cookies stay soft and chewy? If so, you are in the right place. My family, friends, and I love chewy gooey cookies. This recipe is just that.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup softened unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 package vanilla pudding mix (instant 3.4 oz pkg)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, that's (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda and set it aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, and butter.
- Add the instant pudding mix until blended
- Stir in the eggs and vanilla
- Add this mixture to the flour mixture that was set aside
- Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts or candies if any.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Edges should just be turning golden brown.
- Let sit for about 5 minutes after taking them out of the oven.
*This recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies
